Syntor Fine Chemicals has worked in partnership with Volant Fine Chemicals to complete the installation and operation of a new pilot scale and commercial scale manufacturing facility.
This new facility enables Syntor to increase our manufacturing capacity. In addition it has increased our capabilities in relation to processing activities that can be carried out. This new installation supports our laboratory (based in Hangzhou, China) to ensure a smooth scale up and optimisation of processes to facilitate commercial production.
The facility is based in Fenghua, Zhejiang, China (approximatey 45 minutes by car from Ningbo). This location offers excellent sources of domestic and imported raw materials, and allows for easy shipment of product for shipping to the UK.
Syntor’s Quality and Compliance systems will be integrated into the operation of this site, to ensure that product is produced to the highest standards.
A general outline of the equipment available at this site include:
- 12 x 1,000 litre to 3,000 litre GL reactors
- 5 x 1,000 litre to 2,000 litre SS reactors
- 1 x 400 litre GL reactor
- 4 x 250 litre GL reactors
- 50 litre to 300 litre Pilot plant
- Distillation capabilities upto 12 theoretical plates
- Operating range -20°C to 160°C
- Centrifuges
- Dedicated packaging area
